Cluster‐based spectrum access scheme selection and optimal relay link selection for hybrid overlay/underlay cognitive radio networks

Abstract: Cognitive radio (CR) network is the effective technique for the optimum utilization of the spectrum. The hybrid cognitive network (HCN) has been implemented to increase the utilization of the spectrum, by using both (overlay/underlay) modes of spectrum sharing. In overlay mode, cognitive radio (CR) opportunistically uses the spectrum, whereas in underlay mode, the CR uses the spectrum simultaneously with primary user (PU) with transmit power limitation. The HCN tries to use advantages of both modes of spectrum… Show more

This S‐Box is designed by two transformations, that is, inversing the multiplication part in Galois field directed with modified affine transformation. “Cluster Based Spectrum‐Access Scheme Selection and Optimal relay link selection for Hybrid Overlay/Underlay Cognitive Radio Networks”—Authored by Rajappan , Rajaganapathi; P , Muthuchidambaranathan: This research work [5] has implemented a hybrid cognitive network (HCN) to increase the utilization of the spectrum, by using both (overlay/underlay) modes of spectrum sharing. In overlay mode, cognitive radio (CR) opportunistically uses the spectrum, whereas in underlay mode, the CR uses the spectrum simultaneously with primary user (PU) with transmit power limitation to improve the performance of the hybrid CR network. “Coding Structure of JMVDC along Saliency Mapping: A Perspective Compression Technique”—Authored by Veena , Manasa; Narayana , Satya; Prasad , Giri: This research work [6] proposes a novel saliency show for stereoscopic pictures.…”

“…Various research papers have already been written on the hybrid spectrum access technique, covering it from a variety of methods and perspectives. A portion of these works is reviewed here [11][12][13][14][15]. The success of the hybrid spectrum scheme heavily depends on its ability to accurately detect the presence or absence of a PU.…”
