To date, the novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has infected millions and has caused the deaths of thousands of people around the world. At the moment, five antibodies, two from China, two from the U.S., and one from the UK, have already been widely utilized and numerous vaccines are under the trail process. In order to reach herd immunity, around 70% of the population would need to be inoculated. It may take several years to hinder the spread of SARS-CoV-2. Governments and concerned authorities have taken stringent measurements such as enforcing partial, complete, or smart lockdowns, building temporary medical facilities, advocating social distancing, and mandating masks in public as well as setting up awareness campaigns. Furthermore, there have been massive efforts in various research areas and a wide variety of tools, technologies and techniques have been explored and developed to combat the war against this pandemic. Interestingly, machine learning (ML) algorithms and internet of Things (IoTs) technology are the pioneers in this race. Up till now, several real-time and intelligent COVID-19 diagnosing, and monitoring systems have been proposed to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. In this article we have analyzed a wide range of IoTs technologies which can be used in diagnosing and monitoring the infected individuals and hotspot areas. Furthermore, we identify the challenges and also provide our vision about the future research on COVID-19.

In recent years, with the development and extensive application of Internet technology and computer technology, and under the role of the continuous expansion and enrollment expansion of colleges and universities, how to effectively solve the Internet problems faced by teachers and students in colleges and universities has gradually become an important problem that the university information management department should solve in time. In order to continuously improve the efficiency of Internet access in universities, the Internet authentication and billing system for universities proposed in this paper take J2EE as the development platform and combines RADIUS protocol and PPPoE protocol to provide users with diversified Internet billing methods and strategies. At the same time, based on the Fourier fast transform algorithm, the development environment for the Internet authentication and billing system for colleges and universities is deployed, and after the Internet authentication and billing system is implemented, from the functional point of view of the system, the main functional modules are designed and implemented, including the authentication management function. module, billing management function module. The experimental results have shown that the throughput of PPPoE access server in the campus network using the Fourier rapid transform algorithm for traffic load balancing delay is small and stable between 200 ms and 300 ms after the optimization, which provides a feasible solution to promote the healthy and harmonious development of the university campus network.

Delay and stability are two key factors that affect the performance of multicast data transmission in a network. However, current algorithms of tree generation hardly meet the requirements of low delay and high stability simultaneously. Given a general network, the generation algorithm of a multicast tree with minimum delay and maximum stability is an NPhard problem, without a precise and efficient algorithm. To address these challenges, this paper studies the generation of low-delay and high-stability multicast trees under the model of spanning tree based on stability probability, degree-constrained, edge-weighted for multicast (T-SDE). A class of algorithms was proposed which creates the multicast tree greedy on the ratio of fan-out to delay (RFD) and probability of stability of terminal to obtain a high performance in multicast. The proposed algorithms greedily select terminals with a large RFD and a high probability of stability as forwarding nodes in the generation of the multicast tree, where the larger RFD and higher stability of upstream nodes are beneficial to achieve a low transmission delay and high stability in multicast. The proposed RFD can be compatible with the original model, which can take advantage of network connectivity during the generation of a multicast tree. This paper carries out simulation experiments on Matlab R2016b to measure the performance of the proposed algorithm. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can provide a smaller height, higher stability, and a lower transmission delay of the resulting multicast tree than other solutions. The spanning tree of the proposed algorithms can support low transmission delay and high stability in multicast transmission.
