Cloud Service Evaluation and Selection Using Fuzzy Hybrid MCDM Approach in Marketplace

Abstract: Cloud services are offered independently or combining two or more services to satisfy consumer requirements. Different types of cloud service providers such as direct sellers, resellers and aggregators provide services with different level of service features and quality. The selection of best suitable services involves multi-criteria nature of services to be compared with the presence of both qualitative and quantitative factors, which make it considerably more complex. To overcome this complexity, a fuzzy hy… Show more

“…Other MCDM methods can also be experimented with the fuzzy approach. A hybrid approach of three fuzzy techniques (Fuzzy ANP, Fuzzy TOPSIS, and Fuzzy ELECTRE) was proposed by Subramanian [95] to solve complex decisionmaking problems involving qualitative and quantitative criteria. Fuzzy set theory handles uncertainty in CSS in an efficient way.…”

“…In [29], The influences of attributes on the overall quality of services were integrated with the user's preferences in order to calculate the final weights of attributes using the ANP method to allow for a flexible network-like structure representation. In [30], the authors employed fuzzy-ANP to calculate criteria weights for cloud services evaluation. In [31], the authors examined the causal relationships between the criteria using fuzzy DEMATEL-based ANP technique to determine the influence and the weights of the criteria.…”

“…Sidhu and Singh (2017) used improved TOPSIS methodology for developing a framework for evaluating the trustworthiness of CC service providers. Subramanian and Savarimuthu (2016) developed a model for the evaluation and selection of cloud services using fuzzy ANP, fuzzy TOPSIS and fuzzy ELECTRE. Finally, for proving the robustness of the model, sensitivity analysis was carried out.…”
