The introduction of cloud computing into the modern world is a necessary condition for the progressive development of the society. The results of the research, conducted in 2018 by Gartner, IDG and Right Scale, prove that cloud-computing use has become a widespread practice around the world. According to the Right Scale survey, publicly available cloud infrastructures are in the lead in terms of implementation: 81% of companies choose a multi-cloud strategy that uses up to five clouds on average. The hybrid strategy, which is a combination of public and private cloud infrastructures, is followed by 51% of respondents, and 75% of organizations use private clouds. Increasing competition between cloud service providers promotes greater availability of services and helps to expand the capabilities of analytics and integration of cloud computing into various areas of public practice. Global changes in social interaction and communication, growing need for social isolation, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic conditions, actualize the search for optimal ways of indirect interaction, communication, and learning. Piece intelligence, cyber-army, and chat-bots for the collection of information - only a few innovative tools, to which the Ukrainian order is pushed into the cyberspace at the hour of the russian war. In this war, information has become out of control, but ahead of it - innovative technologies for combat action can be unsafe.

With the emergence of mandatory remote education and work in universities due to COVID-19, the 'zoomification' of higher education, i.e., the migration of universities to the clouds, reached the public discourse. Ongoing discussions reason about how this shift will take control over students' data away from universities, and may ultimately prevent privacy from being an attainable goal for researchers and students alike. However, there has been no comprehensive measurement of universities' use of public clouds and reliance on Software-as-a-Service offerings to assess how far this migration has already progressed.In this paper, we perform a longitudinal study of the migration to public clouds among universities in the U.S. and Europe, as well as institutions listed in the Times Higher Education (THE) Top100 between January 2015 and December 2020. We find that cloud-adoption differs between countries, with one cluster (Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland) showing a limited move to clouds, while the other cluster (U.S., U.K., the Netherlands, THE Top100) frequently migrates universities' core functions and services to public clouds-starting long before the COVID-19 pandemic. We attribute this clustering to several socio-economic factors in the respective countries, including the general culture of higher education and the administrative paradigm taken towards running universities.We then analyze and interpret our results, finding that the implications reach beyond individuals' privacy towards questions of academic independence and integrity.

Cloud testing is gaining much attention in both academia and industry as an emerging concept in the field of software testing. Cloud testing implies leveraging the resources of the cloud computing environment to overcome deficiencies of the traditional testing approaches. As a result, testing-as-a-service (TaaS) is introduced as a service model that conducts all testing activities in a fully automated manner using cloud-based resources. Performance testing is a type of software testing that validates the performance characteristics of the application under test (AUT) when subjected to different workloads during its operation. Performance characteristics include throughput, response time, and resource utilization of the AUT under a certain workload. This paper focuses on reviewing the literature related to the provision of performance testing as a service (P-TaaS). In this study, we survey the previous work related to cloud-based performance testing. We show the strengths and weaknesses of the current research. Besides, we compare the P-TaaS with the traditional performance testing methodologies. A detailed discussion of the benefits and challenges of P-TaaS is introduced along with identifying the research gaps and the future directions that can be adopted.
