“…There is very limited information available in the literature with regard to the results of CRPP for this type of fractures. [2][3][4] Although good results have been reported even in some completely displaced and rotated fractures, 3,4 it appears that predictably good outcomes are reserved for LCFs that have a limited initial displacement (possibly <4 mm). [2][3][4] We have identified a group of pediatric LCFs of the humerus who were treated with CRPP.…”

[2][3][4] We have identified a group of pediatric LCFs of the humerus who were treated with CRPP. By comparing it to a group of pediatric LCFs of the humerus that were treated surgically with open reduction and internal fixation (OR-IF), we aimed to investigate several aspects related to the outcome of such a procedure, including issues related to surgical time, recovery of range of motion, lateral spur formation, complications, and overall outcome.…”

“…Lateral humeral condyle fractures are common problems, affecting the elbow joint in children (1). These fractures account for nearly 5% -20% of pediatric elbow fractures and are ranked second place between supracondylar and medial epicondylar fractures (2-4) Lateral condyle mass fractures occur most commonly at 5 -10 years of age (3).…”
