Cloke–Wilson rearrangement: a unique gateway to access five-membered heterocycles

Abstract: Cloke–Wilson rearrangement is utilized to process cyclopropyl constituting functional groups and results in stable five-membered heterocycles. This rearrangement is also involved in the total synthesis of various natural products.
