Abstract:BACKGROUND Chronic pancreatitis is a chronic inflammatory disease, causing complications related to the duodenum like duodenal obstruction or complications related to the biliary system like cholestasis, cholangitis, secondary biliary cirrhosis and cholangiocarcinoma.
