Abstract: Background Lupus nephritis (LN) is one of the major complications associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule (ALCAM or CD166) is a promising urine biomarker that binds to CD6, a receptor found on lymphocytes.
