“…Meanwhile, platelet count presented a major negative correlation with platelet parameters. Additionally, binary logistic regression analysis was performed to identify predictors of severe Delta and showed that a lower level of platelets was strongly associated with more severe disease, suggesting that platelet was an independent predictive factor for severe Delta, which was in agreement with a previous published study [37, 38].
