Abstract: IntroductionXeroderma pigmentosum (XP) is a rare intractable disease without a fundamental treatment, presenting with severe photosensitivity, freckle-like pigmented and depigmented maculae and numerous skin cancers before the age of 10 years without strict sun protection.
