Abstract: Objective-To measure the effects of atypical antipsychotic medication on psychiatric and behavioral symptoms in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and psychosis or agitated behavior.Method-The CATIE-AD effectiveness study included 421 outpatients with AD and psychosis or agitated/aggressive behavior.
