Clinical Supervision for Rehabilitation Counselors

Abstract

Clinical supervision for rehabilitation counselors is an under-utilized technique for in service training. This paper reviews the field of dynamically oriented clinical supervision to date and describes the orientation and methodology of two extremely successful group seminars. Course content, teaching approaches, problems in supervision and the use of process note recordings are described with the hope that this success might be shared in other settings.
