Abstract: Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a complex neurological condition characterized by the acute onset of neurological symptoms, such as seizures and potentially reversible vasogenic edema with preferential involvement of the parieto-occipital region in brain magnetic resonance imaging.
