Abstract:Fifty-sevenpatients with bone and joint tuberculosis were seen at the Hiroshima City Hospital between 1969 to 1983. The incidence of bone and joint tuberculosis is declining and the average age of patients is higher recently. Mainly, we discussed about the treatment and results of thirty-five cases of spinal tuberculosis.The radical operation gave similar results in the long term so far as preservation of health to the conservative treatment, but the radical operation produced certainly distinct advantages.Fir… Show more
