Abstract: BACKGROUND: Non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding (NVUGIB) is a life-threatening emergency that requires an urgent management. Antiplatelet (e.g., aspirin) and anticoagulant drugs are widely chronically used in various cardiac and coronary artery diseases.
