Clinical outcomes of laparoscopic assisted cystotomy in five cats with repeated urethral obstruction

Abstract: Feline urethral obstruction is a life‐threatening condition that requires immediate treatment to relieve the obstruction. If medical dissolution is not indicated, surgical intervention (e.g., open cystotomy, laparoscopic assisted cystotomy, percutaneous cystolithotomy) is necessary to remove uroliths, and minimally invasive surgery may offer some advantages.
