Abstract: Background Impaired breathing during sleep, as in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), can lead to behavior symptoms like those observed in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Obstructive sleep apnea can be effectively treated, thus avoiding problematic pharmacotherapies associated with managing ADHD.
