Clinical implications of biochemical alterations induced by hypothalamic thyrotrophin hormone in elderly people

Abstract: Thyrotrophin releasing hormone (TRH) test has been done in 62 subjects (females, average age 72), in order to analyse the stimulated TSH action, to assess the immediate thyroid reserve and to make the rational parameters of the thyroid function in the elderly.
