Clinical Impact and Reliability of Pleural Fluid Mesothelin in Undiagnosed Pleural Effusions

Abstract: Pleural fluid mesothelin provides additional diagnostic value relative to cytological examination. Mesothelin measurements are reproducible and not affected by inflammatory pleural processes.
