“…Neurotropin ® (NTP), a nonprotein extract from inflamed rabbit skin inoculated with vaccinia virus, is a well-known analgesic drug for treatment of chronic pain, such as low back pain, postherpetic neuralgia, neck-shoulder-arm syndrome, hyperesthesia of subacute myelo-optic neuropathy (SMON), and fibromyalgia.
