Clinical efficacy of artemisinin-lumefantrine and status of antifolate drug resistance markers in western Kenya

Abstract: Background: The development of Plasmodium falciparum resistance to sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (SP) necessitated its replacement with artemether-lumefantrine (AL) in Kenya.
