Clinical effects of a combination of phenylbutazone and omeprazole on chronic lameness in Mongolian horses

Abstract: BackgroundPhenylbutazone (PBZ) is the most commonly used drug to treat symptoms of lameness in horses; however, it is associated with adverse effects such as gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS).
