“…In a network meta-analysis of 25 RCTs, Jia et al (2020) evaluated the CAL gain of erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet laser (Er: YAG); erbium, chromium-doped yttrium, scandium, gallium and garnet laser (Er, Cr;YSGG); neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet laser (Nd:YAG) and diode laser, as monotherapy or adjunctive to SRP in the management of CP (24). The authors have ranked the different laser systems and treatment models available for dental clinicians in which adjunctive diode laser therapy to SRP has shown superior long-term (6 months) results in terms of CAL gain, in comparison with all the other laserbased treatment strategies (24). The outcomes of the present clinical report are in accordance with the inferences of all the abovementioned scientific evidence (14)(15)(16)(17)(18)(19)(20)(21)(22)(23)(24).…”
