Clinical assessment of retinopathy post management of pregnancy induced hypertension

Abstract: Pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH) is a multi-system disorder and common complication occurring during pregnancy responsible for maternal and fetal mortality and morbidity. PIH also exerts its infl uence on the eye and visual pathways. Common ocular symptoms being blurring of vision, photopsias, scotomas, diplopia and in severe cases blindness.
