Abstract: Onderzoek en wetenschap InleidingHet doel van de Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART) behelst het voorkomen van cariëslaesies en het stoppen van progressie ervan. In een cariëslaesie die is doorgedrongen tot het dentine wordt, indien nodig, met handinstrumenten de laesie toegankelijke gemaakt om vervolgens het verweekte gedemineraliseerde dentine ook alleen met handinstrumenten te verwijderen.
