Abstract: Background/Aim. There are several serious complications that can accompany both spontaneous and posttraumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) such as the development of intracranial hypertension, hydrocephalus, rebleeding, cerebral hypoxia, cerebral vasospasm, impaired pituitary function, electrolyte imbalance and electrocardiographic (ECG) abnormalities.
