Abstract: Background and Objectives: The ki67 nuclear protein is a tool for diagnosis and prognosis in oncology that is used to evaluate cell proliferation. Differentiated thyroid carcinoma is usually a slow-growing neoplasm, the most common type being the papillary form. Some clinical and pathological aspects may predict aggressive behaviour.
