Abstract: Background Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) occurs with higher frequency and recurrence rates, increased morbidity and mortality, and more aggressive metastasis in kidney and heart transplant recipients compared to the general population but all transplant recipients do not develop cSCC.
