Abstract: IntroduzioneNumerose ricerche condotte da diversi autori (Fahn 1962, Liphschitz & Lev-Uadum 1986 hanno fatto chiarezza sull'origine geografica e sul grado di adattamento ad ambienti a clima mediterraneo e temperato di molte specie forestali che producono anelli annuali di accrescimento legnoso, deducendo che l'attività cambiale può essere messa in relazione ai fattori climatici.
