Cleaning of transformer oils using the electric field

Abstract: A used oil sample of KTPJO 10/27.5/023 of power transformers which are used on the railway was selected and cleaned by means of electric field. This process was carried out using a device assembled on the basis of a special scheme. Unrefined and refined oil samples were tested for electrical strength, i.e. breakdown voltage, on AID-70m and HUAZHENG (HZJQ-X1 Transformer Oil BDV Tester) dielectric testers.
