“…Although there are many authors such as Illeez et al (1990), Dellaloglu et al (1990), Ozcelik and Altunsoy (1996), Altunsoy and Ozcelik (1998), Yalcin Erik and Bilici (2003), Ay and Yalcin Erik (2003) studied petroleum geology and hydrocarbon potential of this important Basin, Huvaz (2009) did not refer these studies in his article. Huvaz (2009) mentioned that the Eocene Kozluca and Kosedag formations and the Lower Oligocene Selimiye formation demonstrate fair to good source rock potential in the "Section 5.1: Petroleum system and hydrocarbon potential of the Sivas basin".…”
