Classification of diabetes disease using decision tree algorithm (C4.5)

Abstract: Diabetes is one of the most common health problems in the world. Diabetes is also known as “the silent killer” because according to WHO (2016) diabetes increased from 108 million in 1980 to about 422 million adults had diabetes in 2014. If not handled properly, diabetes can become chronic and damage other organs and can cause death. This disease has several symptoms in the patient but evaluating the different factors or symptom variables required to determine which variables are more dominant. This research ai… Show more

“…The results of the classification gave the research a new method for the disease and clinical application which made the focus on the data. Meanwhile, the classification results by characteristic factors of brain functional network show that it is possible to do deep research from the middle index of networks [16].…”

“…Permana et al have discussed the influential variable in so many diabetes variables by C4.5 decision tree algorithm [16]. Aim to test the effect of the indexes, in this paper we use the C4.5 decision tree to verify the classification in the imaging data.…”

“…The fuzzy rule base produces IF-Then rules by applying the C4.5 decision tree algorithm. [36][37][38] And in later cases, the fuzzy rule is converted into the crisp function to get a fuzzy base. Medical experts estimate the fuzzy rules and delete them and add them to the fuzzy base for fuzzy rule verification.…”
