Classification and Quality Evaluation of Tobacco Leaves Based on Image Processing and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation

Abstract: Most of classification, quality evaluation or grading of the flue-cured tobacco leaves are manually operated, which relies on the judgmental experience of experts, and inevitably limited by personal, physical and environmental factors. The classification and the quality evaluation are therefore subjective and experientially based. In this paper, an automatic classification method of tobacco leaves based on the digital image processing and the fuzzy sets theory is presented. A grading system based on image proc… Show more

“…Therefore, this distance feature is also invariant to image transformations (translation, rotation, reflection and scaling). The distance from a point, P(x i ,y i ), to a line, l: ax + by+c=0 , can be calculated by (4) (Fig.4).…”

“…In the People's Republic of China, some scholars have found that the serum and cell content of the workers in electrified railway are lower than the normal people [4][5]. The multilevel fuzzy analysis method is a comprehensive evaluation method based on fuzzy mathematics, for the problem of a fuzzy multiple constraints, the first step is to divide the level, and then to determine the index weight, and to draw the results for their comprehensive evaluation finally, this method is very suitable for solving various problems of fuzzy uncertainty [6][7][8]. This paper uses multilevel fuzzy analysis method, analysis the electric field strength data of the 500kV substation and the data of residence time in different areas and makes a comprehensive evaluation on the health hazards of workers exposed to electric field in 500kV substation.…”
