This paper presents data on the sports facilitiesand ecological environment of nine prefecture-level cities in China, during 2013–2020, in the context of China's "Dual Carbon" strategy. It analyzes the temporal representation of the coupling coordination evolution of sports facilities and ecological environment in Fujian Province using the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree model. Additionally, it constructs an index system for evaluating sports facilities and the ecological environment, using a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach, such as economics, sociology, and geography. The results shows that that the coupling coordination between sports facilities and the ecological environment in China exhibits regional development imbalances and gradually evolving towards a highly coupling coordinated quality type. In addition, population and economy as influencing factors have a clear positive effect on the degree of coupling coordination. This paper also provides several recommendations to develop in a more orderly and optimal direction based on the different characteristics of sports facilities and ecological environment.

Most countries strive to reach effective sustainable development policies, given the repercussions of this policy on many aspects, such as the economic growth of countries. The adoption of policies of sustainability by developing countries may lead to their development faster than expected. This research aims to study the strategies applied in one of the universities of developing countries and the sustainability policies adopted at that university which is Damascus University. The study focuses on the time during last four years of the Syrian crisis through several factors, with a focus on the analysis based on the SciVal and Scopus databases and the strategies applied by the university itself. In this research, we use the method of extracting and analysing the data of the sixteen sustainable development goals (SDGs) of Damascus University within Scopus and SciVal. We also analyse the strategies used in the university in order to reach some of the determinants of SDGs. By analysing Scopus and SciVal data, we find that the third goal of SDGs is the most widespread in terms of scientific research in Damascus University. We find that the application of such policies led to an important goal in the environment, which is the ratio of green space in Damascus University reaching to more than 63 percent of the total flat area of the university. In addition, we find that the application of sustainable development policies led to the generation of energy from renewable sources by 11% of the total electrical energy consumed at the university. The university has been able to reach lots of indicators of the sustainable development goals and it remains apply others.

Future tools for supporting collaborations between technology and sustainable development include artificial intelligence (AI) applications in sustainable Urbanization roles. This article highlights the various applications of AI in advancing sustainable urbanization. From urban planning to disaster management, AI technology is revolutionizing the way cities are designed and managed. By leveraging data analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling, AI is helping city officials make informed decisions, optimize resource usage, and improve quality of life for urban residents. Despite the immense potential of AI in sustainable urban development, there are still challenges and limitations to overcome. We show some of the most significant problems related to these issues. These include issues related to data privacy, algorithm bias, and ethical considerations. Continued research and innovation are needed to address these challenges and ensure that AI technology is used responsibly and effectively in shaping sustainable cities. As a result, AI has the power to transform urban environments and create more sustainable, resilient communities. By harnessing the capabilities of AI, cities can become more efficient, environmentally‐friendly, and prepared for the challenges of the future. It is essential for policymakers, urban planners, and technology developers to work together to harness the full potential of AI in sustainable urbanization and create a better future for all. Proactively addressing these challenges can unlock the full potential of AI in combating sustainable cities and building a sustainable future for all.
