Abstract:Introduction: Flavonones show potential application in the treatment of skin disorders, whose performance may be improved by using lipid and polymeric nanocarriers. In this review, a recent approach regarding nanocarriers containing either naringin, naringenin, hesperidin or hesperitin for skin application are discussed.
