Citrate treatment reduces endothelial death and inflammation under hyperglycaemic conditions

Abstract: Hyperglycaemia and glucose degradation products (GDPs) are closely associated with oxidative stress and inflammation in diabetic patients, a condition that leads to endothelial dysfunction and cardiovascular problems.
