S2k guidelines for the treatment of psoriasis in children and adolescents – Short version part 2

“…In children and adolescents on systemic immunosuppressive therapy for psoriasis, annual screening is not required if the tuberculosis (TB) risk is low and the initial TB test was negative. However, annual re-testing is recommended for patients on systemic immunosuppressive therapy whose initial TB test was negative if their risk changes to moderate or high during treatment or if the patient belongs to a risk group [63]. This includes a sojourn of more than one month in a country with a high prevalence of TB, or patients originating from such a country, people living in collective living quarters, individuals with debilitating diseases, or frequent contact with risk populations [64].…”

Can Bottom-Up Institutional Reform Improve Service Delivery?
