The time of onset of NMB after a dose of 0.1 mg kg −1 cisatracurium was reported as 6.2 ± 1.4 min in dogs after halothane (Adams et al., 2001) and 3.4 ± 0.7 min administration after isoflurane anaesthesia (Adams et al., 2006). The reason for the selection of a higher dose of cisatracurium in this study was the variability in response to 0.1 mg kg −1 reported by others (Adams et al., 2001, 2006).…”
