Abstract:A circular photonic crystal fiber infiltrated with benzene with different air-hole diameters is proposed as a new supercontinuum light source. Optical properties related to dispersion, effective mode area, nonlinear coefficient, and attenuation of the fundamental mode are investigated numerically.
