Abstract:Nephrolithiasis is a process of forming renal calculi or stones in the kidneys. Certain biochemical changes such as formation of reactive oxygen species are the potential causes for epithelial tissue damage resulting in the idiopathic formation and accumulation of calcium oxalate crystals.
