“…Based on the results of the analysis of the high-resolution N 1s XPS spectrum, we can conclude that it is the formation of chemical bonds between elemental N and Fe that facilitate the adsorption of the inhibitor on the carbon steel surface for this type of inhibitor, which is consistent with the findings of Reference [36]. In Figure 4e, it can be seen that there is a peak located at 163.9 eV, which corresponds to the C–S bond [37]. In contrast, no S 2p peak can be seen in the spectrum of the blank sample.…”

“…Both L and Pd 6 L 12 exhibit characteristic C-N carbene bands typically at 1467 and 1443 cm À1 . 29 The strong absorption band at approximately 1384 cm À1 is attributed to the NO 3 À ions for…”

“…In the 1 H NMR spectra of fluorophenyl derivatives of 6 a-c, in addition to the signals of aromatic protons, characteristic signals of the tert-butyl protons at δ 1.77-1.82 ppm were found. In the 13 C NMR spectra, the signals of these groups are observed at δ 30.3-31.0 ppm (CH 3 C) and δ 61.5-61.77 ppm (ipso-C). The signals of aromatic carbon atoms are specifically splitted on fluorine atoms (see the experimental part).…”

“…In the 1 H NMR spectra of copper(I) complexes 3 a,b proton signals only of aromatic nuclei were found. In the 13 C NMR spectra the signals of carbenoid carbon atoms CÀ Cu at δ 180.8-182.9 ppm are most characteristic. In the spectrum of compound 3 b a carbon signal of the trifluoromethyl group was found at δ 124.0 ppm.…”
