The most complex management aspects consist of the presence of frailty, which increases the risk of complications and adverse drug events and reduces the effectiveness of treatments. In this context, to determine the best individualized treatment, it is crucial to have an excellent understanding of the medical and non-medical treatments available, the use of ventilation systems, combined with in-depth geriatric knowledge.
