Abstract: Aim. Patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) at high risk of thromboembolic complications who have had bleeding should strive to resume anticoagulant therapy. Existing traditional scales for assessing the risk of hemorrhagic complications are not highly specific for the risk of recurrent bleeding.
