Abstract: Linear IgA bullous dermatosis is a chronic, acquired, autoimmune subepidermal vesiculobullous disease. Both children and adults are affected. It is characterized by direct immunofluorescence findings of linear immunoglobulins class A (IgA) deposits along the dermal-epidermal junction (basement membrane zone).
