Abstract:We show that inactivating AMPK in vivo in a genetic model of medulloblastoma depletes tumor stem cell populations and slows tumor progression. Medulloblastoma, the most common malignant pediatric brain tumor, grows as heterogenous communities comprising diverse types of tumor and stromal cells.
