Chromosome-Scale Genome Assembly of the Resurrection Plant Acanthochlamys bracteata (Velloziaceae)

Abstract: Acanthochlamys bracteata (Velloziaceae) is a resurrection plant with cold tolerance. Herein, a chromosome-level reference genome of A. bracteata based on Nanopore, Illumina, and Hi-C data is reported. The high-quality assembled genome was 197.97 Mb, with a scaffold N50 value of 8.64 Mb and a contig N50 value of 6.96 Mb. We annotated 23,509 protein-coding genes.
