Chromosome Banding Analysis Versus Genomic Microarrays: A Comparison of Methods for Genomic Complexity Risk Stratification in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Patients with Complex Karyotype

Abstract: INTRODUCTION. Chromosome banding analysis (CBA) is the gold standard to identify complex karyotypes (CK; ≥3 chromosomal aberrations in the same clone). CK are predictors of poor prognosis and treatment refractoriness in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
