Chromatic Dispersion measurement of short optical fibers by sinusoidal phase modulation of a monochromatic light

Abstract: We report a simple method to measure the chromatic dispersion of short length optical fibers using phase modulation of a continuous-wave light. The results obtained were exploited to design a coupled optoelectronic oscillators with optimization of its intracavity dispersion.
