Abstract:Chorea hyperglycaemia basal ganglia (CHBG) syndrome is a rare neurological manifestation that occurs in patients with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes, rarely can be manifested in type 1 diabetes as well. Also called as diabetic striatopathy (DS), it occurs in the background of non ketotic hyperglycaemia.
