Abstract:Cholesteric Spherical Reflectors (CSRs) are omnidirectional selective retroreflectors enabled by the ability of cholesteric liquid crystals (CLCs) to self-assemble with helicoidally modulated long-range orientational order, turning them into a liquid chiral photonic crystal with one-dimensional periodicity.
